After beginning his career at Harper’s BAZAAR in 1946, Mark Shaw has photographed pretty much every iconic name in the fashion world. Epitomising old world glamour, Shaw has featured Audrey Hepburn, Pablo Picasso, Brigitte Bardot, Elizabeth Taylor, Grace Kelly, Jackie Gleason, Danny Kaye, Cary Grant, Yves St. Laurent, Lee Radziwill, Nico of the Velvet Underground and Coco Chanel in his signature shots, always photographing them in a natual, casual light. This, alongside becoming the ‘unofficial’ family photographer for the Kennedy’s and through his work with Dior, has enshrined him as one of fashion’s most influential photographers. Now, in a collection curated by Jason Minty, a select range of limited edition photographs will be on show. This is an exhibition not to be missed.
